NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Retail chain Walmart is planning to cut inflation for Thanksgiving meals this holiday season.
Beginning Nov. 1, Walmart will remove inflation to offer a traditional meal on favorite brands of turkey, ham, stuffing, pumpkin pie, and more. Savings will last until Dec. 26.
The store says 92% of their customers have expressed concern about inflation impacting the holidays. Walmart President and CEO John Furner says saving money remains a "top priority" for customers.
"We’re better positioned than ever before to deliver on our purpose, to help customers save money and live better, especially during the most exciting time of the year," Furner said in a press release. "We’re ready to deliver the omni shopping experience we know our customers want and need; it’s going to be a great holiday season at Walmart.”
