Walmart pulled MyPillow products from its stores, a move that will cost the manufacturer millions of dollars, according to its founder and CEO Mike Lindell.
A Walmart spokesperson confirmed to The Hill the products had been removed after Lindell posted a series of live videos to his Facebook page in which he discussed the decision. Lindell said the removal would constitutes a “$10 million hit” and that he’d offered to lower the price of MyPillow products for Walmart, the nation’s largest retailer.
“You guys are canceling us just like the other box stores,” Lindell said in the video. “Shame on you, Walmart. You’re disgusting.”
Walmart confirmed to The Hill that while it was no longer carrying the pillows in stores, they were available on Walmart.com.
Lindell has been closely tied to President Trump and debunked claims of widespread voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election. MyPillow products have already been pulled from Costco, Bed Bath & Beyond, QVC, JCPenney and Wayfair.
