Billionaire Rihanna bought 'janky' Walmart grill for road trip with A$AP Rocky - Page Six

Shine bright like a brand-new Walmart grill.

Rihanna, who reached billionaire status last summer, admitted in a new interview that she once picked up a budget barbecue for a road trip with her boyfriend, A$AP Rocky.

“I cooked our food on this little janky grill I bought from Walmart,” she said in her May 2022 Vogue cover story. “I still have it, too. It works like nobody’s business.”

Rihanna, 34, shared that she and Rocky, 33, drove a tour bus from Los Angeles to New York in the summer of 2020, with the rapper even stopping at a gas station to buy tie-dye T-shirts.

“I love the simple things but also the grand adventures,” she said. “There’s no pretentious my-brand-your-brand bulls–t; it’s just us living. I just feel like I can do any part of life by his side.”

The couple sparked a romance at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, with the “Diamonds” singer telling the magazine, “He became my family in that time.”

They went public with their relationship in late 2020, shortly before Rocky joined Rihanna in visiting her family in Barbados over the holidays.

“My mother has a really good read on people. She observes first, and then she’ll move slowly. I guess I’m like that too,” she told Vogue. “There are some guys that I’ve dated that she won’t even look at to this day. But she was charmed by him from the jump.”

By late 2021, Rihanna became pregnant with her and the Harlem native’s first child.

“I wouldn’t say [we were] planning. But certainly not planning against it,” she revealed. “I don’t know when I ovulate or any of that type of s–t. We just had fun. And then it was just there on the test. I didn’t waste any time. I called him inside and showed him. Then I was in the doctor’s office the next morning, and our journey began.”

The “Cockiness” collaborators announced the news to the world in January with a snowy photo shoot.

Rihanna has since been spotted shopping for baby clothes at Target.

Just don’t tell Walmart.
