We’ve made it to another holiday weekend, and this time Americans will be celebrating our Independence with family and friends. Fourth of July is this Monday, meaning people will be out and about buying last-minute menu items for cookouts and barbecues, while others will be laying out poolside for the next few days. Depending what you’re up to this extended weekend, a trip to the grocery store or to Walmart might be in your future. But what about the holiday hours? Will everything will be open?

Well, not every store will be open on Monday, July 4, but fortunately many major chains will be. If you’re hoping to make a quick run to Walmart to pick up some burgers and hot dogs or maybe a new swimsuit to don around your friends, you’d be in luck.

Is Walmart closed on 4th of July 2022?

According to The Pioneer Woman, Walmart is set to be open this Monday, July 4. As reported by a representative, the site says Walmart locations should still be operating during its normal hours of 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., but Walmart pharmacy hours might be limited on the holiday. We’d recommend you calling ahead to confirm your location’s pharmacy hours if you need to make a stop there on Monday.

If you’re out and need to stop at a few other stores after Walmart on July 4, rest assured that Target, Home Depot, and liquor stores — depending which state you’re located in — will also be open.
