(WKRN) -m - The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and Tullahoma Police Department are investigating a late night shooting at the Walmart store on N. Jackson Street.
According to Craig Northcott, District Attorney General serving Coffee County, a Tullahoma police officer attempted to serve an outstanding warrant on Mark Luttrell, Jr. around 11 p.m. Friday night. inside the Walmart store.
For reason's that are still being investigated, the incident escalated to a point that the officer apparently felt threatened, said Northcott, and shot at the suspect.
Luttrell, 33, was killed in the shooting.
No other information was immediately released.
