(WTHR) — Be careful if you've bought an ax from Walmart, you may need to stop using it sooner rather than later.
The store is recalling 246,000 Ozark Trail camp axes because the ax head can detach from the handle, which is obviously a serious injury risk.
The product is model number 60111140, and features a black, non-slip rubber grip and claw feature. They were sold from January 2017 to June 2018 in Walmart stores nationwide.
Customers with the ax can return it to a Walmart store for a full refund.
