Louisville Metro Police have arrested a woman in connection with a robbery gone wrong that lead to a man's death in the parking lot of a Walmart on Outer Loop.
Taylor Bailey, 19, was arrested late Wednesday night on charges of murder and robbery, according to Metro Correction logs.
Deion Iman Kennedy, 20, of Louisville, was found shot to death in his car on Aug. 5, 2017, in the Walmart parking lot at 4840 Outer Loop.
Bailey and Kennedy went to Walmart to sell a handgun to someone, according to an arrest citation. Kennedy, however, planned it as a robbery attempt, the citation said.
During the exchange, the unnamed robbery victim shot and killed Kennedy. The robbery victim will not face charges, said LMPD spokesman Dwight Mitchell.
As an accomplice to the robbery that led to Kennedy's death, Bailey is charged with murder, Mitchell said.
Kennedy and Bailey shared the same home address, according to court records.

In August, Robert Holmes III and his wife, Deborah, told Courier Journal they planned to start a scholarship in memory of their son, Kennedy.
"His life got cut down, but he was starting to seek his faith on his own and find his faith for himself," Holmes said. "And if he would've had more time, I think he would've been able to refocus."
Bailey is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday morning.
