Woman under medical evaluation after incident at local Walmart

BRYAN, Tex. (KBTX) - Police say a woman was restrained in a Bryan Walmart early Sunday morning for her own safety.

Authorities were dispatched to the Walmart on Briarcrest shortly after midnight for a disorderly conduct call. They say a woman was reportedly trying to grab people.

Police say when they arrived, a crowd had gathered around a woman who was naked and running through the aisles of the store. Witnesses tell KBTX the woman was screaming as she was running.

Police were able to detain the woman until medics arrived. She was transported to a local hospital where she was evaluated.
