Walmart announced that soaring online purchases have caused delays in its distribution network. Wochit
Walmart has just shared its list of the most popular items sold online in each state, and the results range from the mundane to the bizarre.
Illinois has a thing for erasers while Delaware can't get enough spiced jelly candy. Oil-less fryers are hot down in Mississippi, and people in Connecticut spent 2017 looking for "Ghost in the Shell" on DVD. I really hope they're looking for the classic anime, and not that unfortunate ScarJo film.
So, what item did Hoosiers have shipped to them the most after visiting to Walmart.com?
Instant coffee. No particular brand. Just anything that will get us our precious caffeine in a hurry.
More: Walmart has a new name. Technically.

In a way, it makes a lot of sense. Indiana in November had an unemployment rate of just 3.7 percent, and has remained below the national average for four years. With so many people getting up and going to work, there's probably plenty of them reaching for coffee to help them tolerate their coworkers.
Plus, do you really want to be known as the state who buys a lot of flannel shirts? Sorry, Wyoming.
The map is based on 2017 Walmart sales. Walmart looked at the top 25 most popular items in each state, and identified interesting top sellers.
