A suspect remains at large in a Christmas Day burglary at the Walmart in Williston, according to the Williston Police Department.
The incident took place about 3:30 p.m., police said in a news release.
The suspect stacked wooden pallets to reach a window, which he smashed to gain entrance, they added.
Surveillance cameras show a man whose face is mostly covered with a hood and mask, wearing a light-colored jacket with dark sleeves.
He was toting a large sack and a baseball bat at the scene.
A station wagon associated with the suspect was photographed in the Walmart parking lot — although its license plates were obscured.
Police say a door was found damaged at the nearby Toys R Us store, but made no claim that the incidents are connected.
Anyone with information about the suspect or the vehicle is asked to contact Williston police at (802) 878-6611.
