PARAGOULD, Ark. (KAIT) - Police arrested a woman after they said she tried stealing two PlayStation 5′s from a Walmart.
On Monday, June 10, a Greene County Judge found probable cause to charge 42-year-old Perla Valdez with theft of property, a Class D felony.
According to the affidavit, on Saturday, June 8, officers were sent to the Walmart in Paragould about a theft.
Upon arrival, officers were shown a video of Valdez with a man taking two PlayStation 5 consoles from a case and trying to leave the store without paying for them, along with other merchandise less than $1,000.
Officers were able to arrest Valdez and she was taken to the Greene County Sheriff’s Office.
Valdes was issued a $10,000 bond and the judge ordered her to be banned from any Walmart store.
