Walmart is offering 20-cents off every gallon of gas this month: How to get the deal - AL.com

The average price of a gallon of gas in the U.S. is now $3.54 and, if past summers are any indicator, it is likely to go up as the temperatures rise.

But, later this month, Walmart is offering a chance to save 20 cents per gallon at select service stations around the country.

The deal is part of Walmart+ Week, a savings event planned for June 17-23. Part of the week includes double the regular 10-cent per gallon savings at Exxon and Mobile stations nationwide, meaning you will enjoy 20 cents off per gallon.

There are other discounts planned for the week, too, including 20% back in Walmart Cash on flights, flights, hotels, car rentals, and activities booked through Walmart+ Travel as well as a complimentary Express Delivery, delivering orders to your doorstep in under two hours without the usual $10 fee. You can take delivery a step further with three free months of Walmart+ that allows items to be dropped off right on your kitchen counter.

Walmart said Plus members can expect other deals, including what they call a “mystery” offer that will be unveiled on June 20.

“While I can’t divulge the details just yet, I promise it will be worth watching out for,” Venessa Yates, General Manager and Senior Vice President, Walmart+, said in a blog post.

Walmart+ has an annual membership fee of $98 or $49 for qualifying government assistance recipients. You can see more on membership here.
