A brand-new Walmart fulfillment center will be opening this week in Franklin County. It's promising faster deliveries to people of the Susquehanna Valley. The state-of-the-art facility is on Ebberts Spring Court in Antrim Township, right off I-81. The plan for the facility was first announced back in 2022, with the location specifically picked because of its proximity to large metro areas like Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington, D.C. The center will be hiring for several new jobs going forward. Company leaders will be holding a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the facility this Friday to mark its official opening.
