Walmart employee shot by angry customer in Pineville - WRAL News

An argument over an incomplete purchase led to a Walmart employee being shot on Sunday.

The Pineville Police Department says an employee was shot at the Walmart on Pineville-Matthews Road on Sunday. The employee suffered life-threatening injuries in the shooting, according to Medic.

Police say the suspect did not fully complete a purchase which caused an argument. The suspect then returned to the store and shot an employee in the knee, according to police.
The suspect was taken into custody after the shooting. Their name has not been released at this time.
