Shoppers were hustled out of the Walmart in Lower Nazareth Township on Saturday afternoon because of an incident involving a gun.
Colonial Regional police Sgt. Cody Hendershot said there was an altercation around 2 p.m. involving multiple people in the store, and a gun was recovered in the vicinity. Police are examining store security video to see where the weapon came from.
No one was injured and there is no active threat to the public, Hendershot said. No one is in custody at the moment.
The store was emptied and locked down in keeping with Walmart policy, Hendershot said. It reopened around 3 p.m.
