Darrow man arrested for Walmart parking lot shooting in Gonzales, police say - The Advocate

A 19-year-old from Darrow was arrested for shooting at others in a Walmart parking lot in Gonzales, the Gonzales Police Department said Wednesday evening.

Investigators determined Ja’ky Joshua, 19, went to the parking lot on Airline Highway on the night of Jan. 1 to facilitate the sale of an object that led to a possible robbery and ended in gunfire. Two people were injured and later released from the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.

Joshua was arrested for attempted second-degree murder and negligent inuring, police said.
