Person shot near Walmart in South Fulton, police say - 11Alive.com WXIA

SOUTH FULTON, Ga. — City of South Fulton Police are investigating after a person was shot near a Walmart Friday night.

Police said a person was shot near 6149 Old National Highway, the address of a Walmart Supercenter.

A heavy police presence and possible road closures are expected, police said. The investigation is active but police said there is no threat to the public as the shooting appears to be isolated.

Police urged the public to avoid the area if possible.

11Alive's Cody Alcorn is at the scene and said the crime scene is in the Walmart parking lot, in front of the Market entrance to the store.
