
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — The Charleston Police Department (CPD) arrested three suspects following a Walmart robbery that led to an employee being stabbed.
Bernard Tracy Jones, Elijah Man Gillians, and Ashley Delane Bastian are all charged with armed robbery with a deadly weapon and assault and battery in the first degree. Jones is also charged with possession of a weapon during a violent crime and violent burglary in the second degree. All three were booked at the Sheriff Al Cannon Detention Center on Oct. 27, according to jail records.

The incident occurred on Oct. 27 at 11:36 a.m. Officers responded to the Walmart on Folly Road in reference to a stabbing that occurred.
Police say they were advised that an employee was stabbed. Two black male suspects, later identified as Gillians and Jones, left the scene in a white sedan driven by a white female, later identified as Bastian.
According to the CPD, the suspect vehicle was located in the downtown. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle at Meeting and Stuart Street. Jones, Gillians, and Bastian were identified and taken into custody without incident.
Bastian was released on Oct. 29 on $100,000 bond, according to jail records. Gillians and Jones remain in custody, as of Oct. 31.
