Goldsboro police arrested a man they say had a gun and threatened people inside a local Walmart - WRAL News

A man faces several charges, including child abuse, after police say he threatened people with a gun inside a local Walmart.

Goldsboro Police Department responded to a call around 3:25 p.m. at 1002 N. Spence Ave., where they found witnesses saying 24-year-old Keyantae Toomer was waving a weapon at them.

Police say they were able to arrest Toomer as he tried to flee the scene in his vehicle.

Toomer faces charges, including going armed to terrorize the public, assault by pointing a gun, child abuse, and carrying concealed weapons.

He was placed under a $15,000 secured bond, pending his court date.
