We all know that Ree Drummond and all the Drummond kids are fans of Walmart. Even her youngest son had a blast when they went college shopping at the megastore. Seriously, though, what's not to love? No matter where you are, no matter who you are, you can rely on Walmart to have just about anything you could need—from Ree's extensive Pioneer Woman Collection to all your groceries.
Well, lo and behold, Ree's not the only one who shops there. Did you know there are some iconic celebrities who also love the store? Iconic Yellowstone-universe celebrities, to be exact!
Helen Mirren confirmed that she is a frequent shopper at the Walmart in Butte, Montana. During a very relatable interview with Kelly Clarkson, Mirren talked about filming the Yellowstone spinoff, 1923, in the gorgeous old mining town. That's when Clarkson really started fanning out because it turns out she lives in a remote area outside of Butte!
"Look, there's one store in Butte and it's Walmart," Clarkson explained, "so I love that Dame Helen Mirren has been to Butte."
"I know that Walmart very well!" said Mirren. In fact, she admitted that she knows that Walmart like “the back of [her] hand.” And it just so happens that Clarkson also frequents the exact same store! Even the country star was excited to know that she might spot the renowned British actress strolling the aisles.
Since Clarkson's home is "higher up in the mountains," anytime she needs groceries, she makes the drive all the way to that Walmart. The pair proved once and for all that stars (even those in our favorite Yellowstone spinoffs) really are just like us!
