Walmart unveils newly remodeled Supercenter in North Olmsted - cleveland.com

NORTH OLMSTED, Ohio -- Shoppers at the North Olmsted Walmart will get to see the newly remodeled Supercenter with two days of festivities planned at the Brookpark Road store.

“Our store has been serving the North Olmsted community since 1995,” said North Olmsted Walmart store manager Vironica Parks in a press release. “We’re so excited to invite the community to join us in the celebration.

“We’re also excited because the upgrades that were made to our store will not only offer our customers a fresh new look, but the innovations will make it easier for our associates to get customers what they want, when they want it.”

After a 9:30 a.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony today (Oct. 14), the fun continues from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday with music, a photobooth, cornhole games, pumpkin painting and tie-dye stations. There will also be free product samples.

The update is part of the company’s $130 million investment in 26 Buckeye State stores.

In addition to the refreshed and modernized fixtures, lighting and signage inside the store, North Olmsted shoppers will experience additional convenience.

This includes no-fee Walmart grocery pickup, Pharmacy curbside pickup, Walmart Pay option, delivery and express delivery. The latter gets customer purchases to them in less than two hours.

“As one of North Olmsted’s top retailers in terms of the wide variety of products they offer and their sales volume, Walmart continues to be an important part of our local economy and our local community,” said North Olmsted Mayor Nicole Dailey Jones in a press release.

“We’re pleased that they continue to invest money and talent in our North Olmsted store, so that our local citizens can have the best possible shopping experience while at Walmart.”
