St. Paul Baptist Church received a Walmart Community Grant for mentoring programs and services for area youth. Local Community Grants must directly benefit the service area of the facility from which they are requesting funding and applicant are subject to a review of the organization’s reputation, activities in the community and comply with Walmart terms and conditions.
Dr. Shay Bills, Senior Pastor of St. Paul Baptist Church met with Store Manager Todd Warren to express thanks and appreciation. “For the past few years, St. Paul has focused efforts on community service, cultivating positive experiences and relationships as well as connecting youth with mentors who encourage academic success, self-awareness and self-esteem. Receiving the Walmart Community Grant is conformation we’re on the right track and a blessing, ” Bills said.
St. Paul is currently preparing to impact more youth and the community in 2022 and partner with other like minded individuals, groups or organizations who share the same vision of empowering youth.
