Is Walmart open on Christmas (Dec. 25, 2021?) - AL.com

Most people will enjoy Christmas day with their friends and family, opening presents, enjoying company and eating way too much.

But shopping? Unless you’re planning on hitting up some of the select stores that are open on Dec. 25 (CVS, Walgreens or Rite Aid, to mention a few) there aren’t a lot of options.

One store that is off the table is Walmart.

The nation’s largest retailer is closed Christmas Day.

Walmart locations closed at 6 p.m. Christmas Eve and will remain closed Dec. 25. Stores will reopen regular hours on Sunday, Dec. 26.

Walmart.com will be open for shoppers on Christmas day. You can also opt for e-delivery on gift cards, including a $98 annual membership for Walmart+, the chain’s shopping membership service. The service gives you free same-day delivery, free shipping with no minimum order and special member prices at select fuel stations.
