LAKE WALES, Fla. — Customers and employees of the Walmart SuperCenter on Gibsonton Dr. in Lake Wales was evacuated on Sunday, after the store received a bomb threat.
"After being alerted to a potential threat earlier today, management evacuated the store out of an abundance of caution," said the company's Director of Digital Strategy and Brand Engagement, Molly Maj, in an email to Spectrum News.
She said Walmart is "working with local law enforcement to resolve the situation."
