There’s something about Independence Day that makes people want to head outdoors. That’s especially true this year as COVID-19 case numbers have dropped dramatically across the country even as vaccination rates continue to grow.

If you are one of those looking to celebrate July 4th with a backyard barbecue or gathering, chances are you’ve already stocked up on what you need. But, if you forget something, or you just like to do some holiday shopping, you will be happy to know Walmart is open on July 4th.

Walmart stores are open regular hours on July 4 and July 5th. For most Supercenters, that means operating hours of 6 a.m.-11 p.m.

That means you’ll be able to pick up hamburgers, hotdogs, chips and more on the holiday and on Monday, when a lot of offices will remain closed to mark Independence Day.
