Flipkart, the online Indian retailer mostly owned by Walmart

is considering a U.S. listing by merging with a special purpose acquisition company, Bloomberg News reported, citing people familiar with the matter. The report said Flipkart would seek a valuation of at least $35 billion. Walmart in 2018 bought a 77% stake in Flipkart for $16 billion. In a statement, Walmart said, "we have been clear that we support an IPO for Flipkart, but we have not made any decisions on timing, listing venue or methodology."
