Baylor student gives reasons why Walmart is superior to H-E-B - Chron

Lawrenz broke it down, writing in her March 3 piece that Walmart has a better overall shopping experience, prices, and variety of products.

In the shopping experience category, Lawrenz says parking at H-E-B is an "absolute madhouse," leaving her already feeling stressed before even entering the store. Meanwhile, at Walmart, Lawrenz always finds parking, and the aisles are spacious, unlike H-E-B, she says.

"When I am shopping, I don't want to feel rushed, crowded or stressed out," she explained. "I should be able to browse the aisles with ease and take my time deciding on the products I want."

Lawrenz even shut down the bad reputation Walmart has about being "dirty, gross and unpleasant." She argues that it's quite the opposite at her go-to Walmart.

She noted how she believes the prices are better at Walmart, adding how the supermarket has a price match policy, which means if a customer finds a lower price elsewhere, Walmart will honor that and price match (who knew this and didn't tell us?).

Lastly, Lawrenz pointed out how Walmart provides more products than H-E-B. There Lawrenz said she can search the shelves, get what she needs, and, sometimes, discover a new product.
