LAS CRUCES - A man who died Wednesday inside a Las Cruces Walmart suffered from a medical episode prior to his death. 

Dan Trujillo, spokesperson for the Las Cruces Police Department, said officers were called to the Walmart at 3331 Rinconada Boulevard at 9:15 a.m. in reference to the incident.

Authorities did not release the man's name or information on the medical episode.

A Walmart spokesperson did not respond to the Sun-News.
