HOUSTON – The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after two people got in a physical altercation inside a northwest Harris County Walmart Supercenter that resulted in panic and reports of gunfire.
The first reports were made at 4:15 p.m. at the Walmart Supercenter located at 12353 Farm to Market 1960 Road.
Initially, officials believed that gunfire had erupted in the store and staff and customers were cleared out of the store during investigations.
At 5:22 p.m., HCSO tweeted that two people got into a “physical altercation” in the store and one of the men “had a gun, but it was not discharged inside the store.”
It is unclear if a suspect fired shots outside the store. As of 5 p.m., no injuries had been reported.
