
An employee at the Walmart Supercenter on South Campbell Avenue worked in multiple areas of the store before experiencing symptoms or testing positive for the coronavirus.
The person worked from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday while wearing a mask, according to a health department news release.
They also attended a baseball game from 5:30 to 8 p.m. that evening at Meador Park Field on South Fremont Avenue.
Anyone who was at those locations during that time frame is at a low risk for contracting the virus, but they should monitor for symptoms.
There is no need to self-quarantine or isolate unless symptoms develop, according to the health department.

The coronavirus spreads through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes, typically between people who are in close contact with one another.

As of Tuesday morning, Greene County had 87 active coronavirus cases and 267 total cases in the past three months.
