Hourly Walmart employees in Pennsylvania received a bonus in their paychecks Thursday due to their “many contributions during this unprecedented time,” according to a press release.
Full-time employees received an extra $300, part-time employees received an extra $150 and assistant managers received an extra $400, adding up to over $13 million statewide. Employees must have employed by Walmart on June 5 to qualify for the bonus, which includes many new employees hired during Walmart’s recent hiring commitment.
This is the third bonus Walmart has given its employees in almost three months, the release said.
