filed its proxy statement late Thursday, showing that Chief Executive Douglas McMillon's base salary in 2019 was $1,276,892, unchanged from 2018. The base was 5.8% of his total compensation of $22.11 billion in 2019, which was down 6.4% in 2018. Walmart's stock rose 27.6% in 2019, after falling 5.7% in 2018. McMillon's total compensation included $15.7 million in stock awards, $3.5 billion in non-equity incentive plan compensation, $1.2 million in change in pension value and non-qualified deferred compensation and $410,091 in "other compensation," which included $86,708 for the personal use of company aircraft. The discount retail giant's stock, which gained 0.5% in premarket trading, has rallied 12.4% over the past three months through Thursday, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average
