This is one TV series Pa. police hope to cancel: A man has been ripping off big TVs at a local Walmart four times now and counting.
But police hope Walmart surveillance images of the serial TV thief will lead them to a suspect.
As WFMZ 69 News reports, the serial TV thief has been striking at a Walmart in Muhlenberg Township, Berks County. But as the station writes, police are hoping the images of the suspect will spark new tips that will allow them to pull the plug on the series of TV heists.
The suspect is wanted for stealing large-screen televisions from the Walmart store on Allentown Pike in the township on the following dates: Jan. 26, Jan. 31, Feb. 2, and Feb. 19.
On that last date, the man made off with not one, but two, big TVs, police tell WFMZ, adding:
In all four incidents, police said the man left the store through the lawn and garden doors and drove off in a black- or dark-colored Chevrolet Impala.
Anyone with info can text it to Crime Alert Berks County at 847411, starting the message with keyword alertberks, or by calling 877-373-9913. A cash reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest, WFMZ reports.
