Disorderly conduct: West Ridgewood Drive

On Dec. 21, police were dispatched to the Walmart parking lot regarding a fight in the West Ridgewood Drive parking lot. An arriving officer located a University Heights man fighting a juvenile. They were both arrested for disorderly conduct.

Theft: Snow Road

On Dec. 23, police were dispatched to the Marc’s on Snow Road after a shopper reported that someone had stolen her purse, which had been located in her shopping cart. There are no suspects. Police are investigating.

Assault: Priscilla Avenue

On Dec. 23, police were dispatched to a Priscilla Avenue home regarding an assault. An arriving officer discovered that an elderly woman had been harmed by a man at the home. He was arrested for felonious assault.

Property theft: Ridgewood Lakes Drive

On Dec. 23, police were dispatched to Ridgewood Lakes Drive after a resident discovered that someone had taken property from his vehicle, which had been parked in the driveway. There are no suspects.

Disorderly conduct: Parklane Drive

On Dec. 23, police were dispatched to a Parklane Drive residence regarding the report of an overdosing woman. An arriving officer located the Parma Heights woman, who was revived using Narcan. She was cited for disorderly conduct-intoxicated.

Warrant: Powers Boulevard

On Dec. 20, an Oberlin woman being booked into the justice center for a warrant was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. She was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Breaking and entering: State Road

On Dec. 21, a State Road resident came to the police station to report property missing from her apartment. There are no suspects. Police are investigating.

Drug abuse: Day Drive

On Dec. 21, police were dispatched to Giant Eagle after an employee observed two customers shoplifting from the Day Drive store. An arriving officer located the thieves -- a Middleburg Heights man and a Parma resident.

It turned out that the former was in possession of felony drugs. He was arrested for drug abuse. Both were cited for shoplifting.
