Grocery shopping in Knoxville just got easier.
Walmart is adding a new incentive for Knoxville shoppers looking to scribble a few chores off their to-do lists without leaving their homes.
Throughout the month of May, the grocer will wave its usual $10 fee and offer Knoxville shoppers free delivery on orders of $50 or more.
The big-box chain says the promotion is in celebration of its 1,000th grocery delivery location in Daytona Beach, Florida. Grocery delivery became available at four Knoxville locations — Turkey Creek, Walker Springs (Walbrook), Clinton Highway and East Town — in September.
Walmart's promotion comes a week after Amazon-owned Whole Foods added Knoxville to the list of cities where it will deliver groceries through Amazon's Prime Now delivery service.

Here's how to get the deal
Customers enter their address at Walmart.com/grocery, or on the Walmart Grocery mobile app, to find out if the service is available in their area. During checkout, customers select a 1-hour window of time for delivery.
Delivery prices are the same prices that in-store customers are charged. DoorDash is the company contracted to deliver the groceries to the door.
