Police found body hanging on a tree near South Fulton Walmart

A woman’s body was found hanging on a tree near a South Fulton County Walmart early Monday morning, Channel 2 Action News reported.

South Fulton County police are investigating the incident at the Walmart on Old National Highway, the station reported. A police spokesperson told Channel 2 they couldn’t confirm if it was a suicide or not, but there was no foul play involved.

We finally got ahold of the police spokeswoman after calling through the early morning hours, emailing. She said officers came out and found a woman hanging. She wouldn’t confirm whether it was a suicide when we asked but said there is NO foul play. pic.twitter.com/m8UBTkGUHT
