HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) --
Police are investigating a homicide that happened in the Walmart parking lot at Rowlett and Almeda Genoa around 10:30 Sunday night.Officers said when they arrived on scene, they found a man shot in a car. He was taken to the hospital where he died.
They do not believe there were any other people in the car at the time of the shooting.

Police said the man was sitting inside a red Cadillac when gunshots were fired.
So far no arrests have been made.
Homicide investigators are questioning witnesses, with some saying that they saw two men fleeing from the area in a white car.
"They'll review the surveillance video to see if they can determine exactly what happened this evening. We do have several witnesses and they'll interview them," said Lt. Larry Crowson with the Houston Police Department.
