It started in a Walmart, where police say a Newville man threw items at his girlfriend and threatened her and the customers who tried to intervene.
And now, 42-year-old Frederick J. Vallot Jr. is facing charges.
Carlisle police got a call around 6:05 p.m. Saturday for an unruly customer at the Carlisle Walmart Super Center. They say Vallot threw merchandise at his girlfriend, threatened her and yelled obscenities.
Though some of the thrown items hit her, she was not injured, police say.
Vallot also threatened the customers who tried to stop him before store management escorted him outside, where he was later taken into custody, police say.
Vallot has been charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct.
