Suspect arrested in Walmart, Toys R Us burglaries

WILLISTON, Vt. (WCAX) An Essex man has been nabbed for alleged Christmas day break-ins at Walmart and Toy R Us in Williston.

Police say 32-year-old Nathan Giffin stacked pallets against the outside of the Walmart and used a bat to break a window. Once inside, they say he triggered an alarm system and quickly took off.

Officers also discovered a broken door at Toys R Us.

Giffin is due in court next month on two burglary counts.
