Black Friday 2017: Walmart, Target, Best Buy ads; Thanksgiving, Black Friday hours, best deals

Black Friday is less than two weeks away and two of the most highly anticipated ads - Walmart and Target - are out.

Here's a look at some of the best Thanksgiving/Black Friday ads from Walmart and Target, as well as the hours for each store and some more Black Friday ads from BestBlackFriday.com:

Walmart

Stores will be open all day on Thanksgiving, with sales starting at 6 p.m. Online shoppers can enjoy deals even earlier, with most going live at 12:01 a.m. on Thanksgiving. Walmart is also adding color-coded maps in its circulars of store departments where the deals can be found.

Walmart is also bringing back its layaway program through Dec. 11, as well as its Holiday Helpers - associates dedicated to assisting customers. Holiday Helpers will wear reindeer hats and provide support in pickup and departments such as toys and electronics.

Free two-day shipping is available on more than 2 million items on orders over $35.

Target

Target will open at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving, staying open for six hours before closing at midnight. The hours are a change from previous years when stores stayed open through Thanksgiving night into Black Friday.

Target will reopen at 6 a.m. on Black Friday. As always Target Red Card members save 5 percent on every purchase. Also, spend $50 or more on Black Friday at Target and get 20 percent off one shopping trip between Nov. 28 and Dec. 10.
